- You must be the sole
developer (and specifically credited) for the skill role you are applying for; team-work/
collaboration
in same genre with respect to the application is prohibited.
Only certain website links are permitted in the applications: Roblox, Roblox DevForum, X, ArtStation, DeviantArt, Framer, YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo, GitHub, Soundcloud. VARIES FOR EACH SKILL ROLE, PLEASE READ THE REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR SPECIFIC SKILL ROLE BELOW.
Note: Application Readers (AR) department, having the authority, may revoke your skill role(s) at any point in time if your work is found to be below intermediate level in terms of proficiency or unoriginal/ plagiarized. You may report any individual possessing a skill role via an 'Application Ticket' using /ticket command as well. If skill role(s) is/ are revoked then you are free to apply keeping in mind the Application Rules.
If you have any issue pertaining to the Application Rules,
applications or skill roles, please create an 'Application
Ticket' using /ticket command to reach out to us. Tickets are usually resolved within 3 days,
sometimes
can take up to 1 week.
Builder
Builder skill role can only be attained when an applicant creates and submits a sophisticated build map created using Roblox Studio exclusively (with parts and unions) for at least half of the map and its constituents. If majority of the map has been created using an external 3D Modeling software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, etc. then the applicant should apply for 3D Modeler.
- Provide 'one' showcase build map developed by you in Roblox studio consisting of original builds.
- Submit only the non-programmed main map without any lobby teleportations.
- Submitting map assets, for example, individual buildings or
assets
that you can use within a map, are not counted as valid submissions. You must submit a fully-fledged
'medium' or 'large' sized build map (add a 'fly' tool if the map size is too large).
- At least half of your map should be built/ modelled exclusively in Roblox Studio using the tools embedded in Roblox Studio.
- Free models are not allowed, including trees and plants.
- Your examples must be provided in a singular Roblox place. Images are not
accepted.
- Roblox place must be owned by you, or you must be specifically credited in
the
game description. Alternatively, credits are allowed in-game (must be specified in the description if
the
credits are in-game) or on an external page (like Roblox DevForum) if this external page is linked in
the
game description.
- You need not submit a fully functional game, rather an easily accessible
and
well-optimized (not a lot of lag) build map for evaluation.
- Obbies and tycoons are prohibited and will be considered "trolling".
- Builds should reflect a strong understanding of Roblox Studio. You will be
evaluated in each of the categories that follow, but not exclusively:
- Visual appeal
- Concept and visualization
- Sufficient builds/ components
- Complexity and detailing
- Union, intersect, negate and separate
- Lighting and environment
- Materials and color combinations
- Consistency and alignment
Luau Scripter
Luau Scripter skill role can only be attained when an applicant creates and submits a sophisticated Luau code with a working demonstration in a Roblox Place. The code must encompass the intermediate level aspects of programming in Luau. At least 80% of your code must be Luau programming language exclusively, rest 0-20% can be other programming language(s).
- A minimum of 200 lines of Roblox Luau code in a single script (excluding
empty/ blank lines and comment lines).
- Only GitHub link is permitted (use proper file extension). Repository link is not permitted, submit direct link to the Luau code. Raw pastes/ codes are also not permitted.
- You must demonstrate a broad understanding of Roblox and programming
logic.
- You must show broad understanding of Roblox API. We suggest using
CFrame math, physics, metatables, open-source libraries, etc.
- The code must be well written and efficient, with proper
utilization
of functions and methods.
- Code must be well presented in order to maintain
readability.
- There must be clear and appropriate comments written by you that thoroughly demonstrate your understanding of the code’s structure, underlying logic, the reasoning behind its implementation, and how the different components interact and function together.
- A demo game demonstrating the functionality of the script must be provided. Make sure your code example is relevant to your game.
- Ensure that your code is well-optimized and avoid any unnecessary
components/
extra lines.
- Mandatory for verification: Please connect your GitHub Account with your Discord Account and mention "Connected Discord-GitHub" as a comment in the first line of your code. Alternatively, credit your Discord Username and Roblox Username (both) as a comment in the first line of your code.
- Roblox place must be owned by you, or you must be specifically credited in
the
game description. Alternatively, credits are allowed in-game (must be specified in the description if
the
credits are in-game) or on an external page (like Roblox DevForum) if this external page is linked in
the
game description.
- Avoid the following:
- Repeated operations.
- Irrelevant or unnecessary blocks of code.
- Several modules/ scripts combined together.
- 1,000+ lines of code. This is to ensure applications are reviewed with precision despite large volumes.
Graphics Artist
Graphics Artist skill role can only be attained when an applicant creates and submits 4 sophisticated graphic design/ artwork examples (3D or 2D). The 4 best graphic designs/ artworks in the profile are considered. A Graphics Artist creates original graphic designs from zero using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, GIMP, Paint.NET, Blender, Cinema 4D, and so on.
- Provide a minimum of 4 examples for 2D digital artwork or 3D rendered graphic designs. Exceptions include:
- Logos / Faces: Minimum 6 examples.
- icons: Minimum 10 examples.
- Examples must be full-size and presented individually; commission sheets
are
not allowed.
- Must only be accessible through an online gallery/ portfolio such as
ArtStation, DeviantArt, Roblox DevForum, Framer or X.
- Each example must have a distinct clearly visible watermark matching with
your
Discord or Roblox Username showing that it was made by you.
- All examples must be completely completely original; use of any licensed
artwork is not permitted.
- All examples must show a certain level of sophistication. Your graphic
designs
will be evaluated in each of the categories that follow, but not exclusively:
- Visual appeal
- Concept and visualization
- Smoothness and quality of textures
- Proper lighting and environment
- Adequate background and props
- Appropriate use of colors and shading
- Composition of objects/ props/ effects
3D Modeler
3D Modeler skill role can only be attained when an applicant creates and submits a minimum of 3 sophisticated 3D model examples via a 3D viewable platform such as Sketchfab, ArtStation or in a Roblox Place (images or videos are not permitted). 3D models may be created by an applicant using Blender, Cinema 4D, Autodesk, 3ds Max, or an external 3D modeling software. The 3 best 3D models are considered.
- Provide the link to your portfolio containing a minimum of
3 examples.
- Examples can be placed on a singular Roblox baseplate where they are fully
visible or placed on a website where you can view the whole model like ArtStation or Sketchfab. For

- Free models are not allowed.
- Images or videos are not accepted.
- Roblox place must be owned by you, or you must be specifically credited in
the
game description. Alternatively, credits are allowed in-game (must be specified in the description if

- Textures and colors applied onto models are optional but if present then
must
be used appropriately.
- Any example submitted outside of Roblox must have your Discord Username
and
Roblox Username in the description of the model.

- Polygonal subdivision
- Symmetry and consistency

UI/UX Designer
Interface Designer skill role can only be attained when an applicant creates and submits a minimum of 5 sophisticated interface design examples using software/ platform such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, Roblox Studio, and so on. All the interface designs must reflect decent knowhow of user experience as well as encompassing various aspects of sophistication fairly well.
- Provide the link to your portfolio containing a minimum of 5 interface
design
examples.
- Examples must be presented individually; commission sheets are not
allowed.
- Your full-size interface design examples must only be accessible through
an
online gallery/ portfolio such as ArtStation, DeviantArt, Roblox DevForum, Framer or X.
- Each example must have a distinct clearly visible watermark matching with
your
Discord or Roblox Username showing that it was made by you.
- All examples must be original; use of licensed icons and vectors is
allowed.
- The sophistication of your portfolio website is not relevant.
- Unfinished frames, partial huds, and icons are not valid UI examples. Only full frames (with content inside) and full huds (with buttons, health bars, etc; not only a part of the hud) are considered valid examples.
- All examples must show a certain level of sophistication. You will be
evaluated in each of the categories that follow, but not exclusively:
- Visual appeal
- Varieties in UI style
- Sufficient components per example (frames, labels, buttons, etc.)
- Use of various techniques (rounded edges, icons, menus, etc.)
- Creativity, originality and visualization
- Proper dimensions/ scaling
- Complexity and detailing
- Appropriate effects and decorations
- Appropriate use of colors
- Adequate spacing and padding
- No stolen vectors or icons
- No AI vectors or icons
Clothing Designer
Clothing Designer skill role can only be attained when an applicant creates and submits 5 sophisticated clothing design examples using software/ platform such as Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.NET, etc. All the clothing designs must be completely original and classic/ flat (2D). Moreover, any form of layered clothing or 3D clothing is appropriate when applying for 3D Modeler.
- Provide a minimum of 5 different clothing design examples (classic shirts
or
pants).
- Provide 5 separate direct links to your examples.
- Links provided must be valid (not archived) Roblox catalog links.
- All 5 examples must have custom shading. Use of any unoriginal shading
template is prohibited.
- No stolen/ free clothing or accessories are permitted. This includes
open-source templates such as Customuse.
- Examples must be uploaded by you or your Roblox Username must be credited
in
the description for making them.
- Photobashing is prohibited.
- All examples must show a certain level of sophistication. You will be
evaluated in each of the categories that follow, but not exclusively:
- Visual appeal
- Appropriate use of colors
- Proper shading and composition
- Clean edges
- Complexity of graphics (unoriginal logos/ text not allowed)
- Realism and creativity
Video Editor
Video Editor skill role can only be attained when an applicant creates and submits a video of their video editing process demonstrating sophistication. Video Editors may use software/ platform like Wondershare Filmora, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, and so on. Basic aspects like cropping, cutting, trimming, positioning, etc. are fine but intermediate aspects must be present.
- Provide a 5-minute video (screen recording) of you editing a video in
real-time in your preferred video editing software.
- Your video editing process video must have a distinct clearly visible
watermark matching with your Discord or Roblox Username present throughout the video.
- You must explain your video editing process in the form of voice over (no AI voice) or
captions. The explanation must be thorough and technical as well.
- Video must be uploaded on a video sharing platform such as YouTube, Twitch
or
Vimeo.
- The example must show
a
certain level of sophistication. You will be
evaluated in
each of the categories that follow, but not
exclusively:
- Sync and color
themes
- Complexity of
components
- Lighting and
contrast
- Animations and
transitions
- Effects, overlays and

Animator
Animator skill role can only be attained when an applicant creates and submits a minimum of 3 sophisticated animation examples (3D or 2D) via a Roblox Place or ArtStation (viewable in 3D). Animations made with any kind of rigs are permitted, but images or videos are not permitted for 3D animations. If you are a 2D animator, then you may showcase your animated video via YouTube, Twitch, or Vimeo.
- 3D Animations: Provide a minimum of 3 animation examples on rigs in a
Roblox
Place or animation showcasing sites like Sketchfab. Videos or GIFs are not allowed.
- Motion Capture (MoCap) is permitted as long as you have smoothened the
animation and taken care of other relevant aspects as the sole Animator.

Music Composer skill role can only be attained when an applicant creates and submits a minimum of 3 sophisticated music track examples. Music Composers may use a Digital Audio Workspace (DAW) such as Soundation, GarageBand, FL Studio, Ableton, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, REAPER, etc. All examples must be screen recordings of the tracks being played in their DAW, including mixing channels and plugins if utilized.
- This application is a sub-category for 'Sound Effects'.
- Minimum of 3 music track examples that you have composed.
- Provide 3 separate direct links to your examples. Each music track
must
also be at least 30 seconds long.
- Your examples must be screen recordings of music tracks being played in
the
software they have been composed.
- Examples must only be through a video streaming platform such as YouTube,
Twitch or Vimeo.
- You are required to show the mixing channels with plugins in the
video. This is optional and won't be required only if your music track examples meet the auditory appeal aspect of sophistication.
- Remakes or remixes of any kind are prohibited and will result in
moderation.
- All examples must show a certain level of sophistication. You will be
evaluated in each of the categories that follow, but not exclusively:
- Auditory appeal
- Sound (overtone, timbre, pitch, amplitude, duration)
- Satisfactory melody and harmony

Visual Effects Artist
Visual Effects Artist skill role can only be attained when an applicant creates and submits a minimum of 3 sophisticated visual effects examples using Roblox Studio, Adobe After Effects, Blender, etc. All the visual effects designs must be completely original, and the 3 best visual effects are considered.
- This application is a subcategory for '3D Modeler'.
- A minimum of 3 visual effects examples must be provided.
- VFX textures must be original and solely made by you.
- Examples should be provided in either a Roblox Place or via an online
gallery/

Sound Effects Creators may use a Digital Audio Workspace (DAW) such as Audiotool, Audacity, FL Studio, Ableton, REAPER, etc. All the sound effects must be completely original.
- Minimum of 3 sound effects examples that you've created.
- Provide 3 separate direct links to your examples.
- Must only be uploaded on a video or audio sharing platform such as
YouTube,
Vimeo, Twitch, or SoundCloud.
- All examples must show a certain level of sophistication. You will be
evaluated in each of the categories that follow, but not exclusively:

- Audio equalization (EQ)
- Compression

Terrain Editor
Terrain Editor skill role can only be attained when an applicant creates and submits a sophisticated map created using the Roblox Studio Terrain Editor tool. The map must reflect decent knowhow of the Terrain Editor tool functions such as hills, paints, tunnels, etc. and utilize at least 3 different material types excluding water.
- The terrain provided should not be auto-generated.
- You must utilize at least 3 different material types (excluding water).
- Your terrain example must have proper concept and decent execution.
- Terrain example provided should be at least 2000 x 2000 studs in size.
- Roblox place must be owned by you, or you must be specifically credited in the game description. Alternatively, credits are allowed in-game (must be specified in the description if the credits are in-game) or on an external page (like Roblox DevForum) if this external page is linked in the game description.
- Your example must show a certain level of sophistication. You will be evaluated for adequate use of functions in the Terrain Editor tool such as hills, paints, tunnels, etc.
- Make sure everything is clearly visible and there is no restriction on how far you can zoom out so the entire map can be viewed.
Texture Artist
Texture Artist skill role can only be attained when an applicant creates and submits a minimum of 4 sophisticated texture map/ artwork examples. Screenshots of the textures applied onto models or surfaces are not allowed. All texture artworks must be completely original, and the 4 best texture maps/ artworks are considered.

Voice Actors may use a Digital Audio Workspace (DAW) such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, REAPER, Twisted Wave, and so on. Each voice acting audio clip must be diverse and clear with no background noise or voice changers.
- Provide a minimum of 3 diverse voice acting examples.
- Provide 3 separate direct links to your examples.
- Each voice acting audio clip must be at least 20 seconds long.
- The voice acting examples must only be uploaded to a video or audio sharing platform such as YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo, or SoundCloud.
- Please credit your Discord Username and Roblox Username (both) in the first line of description for each audio/ video example.
- All examples must show a certain level of sophistication. You will be evaluated in each of the categories that follow, but not exclusively:
- Clarity of audio
- No background noise
- No use of voice changers
- Exceptional enunciation
- Fluency and pronunciation
- Voice modulation
Off-site Programmer
Off-site Programmer skill role can only be attained when an applicant creates and submits 3 codes in the language of their choice with a working demonstration in a video. The code must encompass the intermediate level aspects of programming in the chosen language. At least 80% of your code must be the chosen language exclusively, rest 0-20% can be other programming language(s).
- You may apply for any one of the Off-site Programmer skill roles: JavaScript/Typescript, Python, C#, C++, PHP, Java or HTML/CSS.
- Only GitHub link is permitted (use proper file extension). Repository link is not permitted, submit direct link to the code examples. Raw pastes/ codes are also not permitted.
- Each of your 3 code examples must have a minimum of 50 lines excluding empty/ blank lines and comment lines.
- There must be clear and appropriate comments written by you that thoroughly demonstrate your understanding of the code’s structure, underlying logic, the reasoning behind its implementation, and how the different components interact and function together.
- Ensure that your codes contain manually-written clear, precise, technical and thorough comments. All the code examples must be in the same programming language that you are applying for, or have at least 80% of the same programming language.
- All examples must be original. Submitting generic code is strongly discouraged and reduces your chance of acceptance.
- Must showcase a working live example in the form of a video with the source code(s) being displayed. The video must only be uploaded to YouTube, Twitch, or Vimeo.
- Custom websites are not permitted. You must prove the ownership of the website, demonstrate the functionality and also showcase the source code(s) in the live example video itself.
- Mandatory for verification: Please connect your GitHub Account with your Discord Account and mention "Connected Discord-GitHub" as a comment in the first line of your code. Alternatively, credit your Discord Username and Roblox Username (both) as a comment in the first line of your code.
- Each code example must not exceed 1,000 lines. This is to ensure applications are reviewed with precision despite large volumes.
Game Producer
Game Producer role can only be attained when an applicant submits a successful Roblox Game with at least 50 concurrent players and 200,000 visits. A valid link to your game’s icon (not the Roblox Game's source icon link) must also be submitted.
- Your Roblox Game must have a minimum of 50 concurrent players.

If the game appears to be an old famous game, it is permitted. We
consider a game old if it is at least 1 year old.
- You must own the Roblox Game or the Roblox Group/ Community under which
the
game has been published. You must be the sole Owner of this Roblox Group or one of the 3 Co-Owners
(including yourself).
- The game must have at least 200,000 visits.
Community Creator
Community Creator role can only be attained when an applicant submits a successful Roblox Group/ Community with at least 1,000 members. Discord servers are not permitted.

Your Roblox Group/ Community must have a purpose.
- The group/ community must have a minimum of 1,000 members.
- The list of all members in your Roblox Group must be publicly visible without the need to join your group.

You must be the sole Owner of Roblox Group/ Community. Up to 3 Co-Owners
(including yourself) are permitted.
- Holder accounts or Bot accounts are not counted as valid members.
YouTuber
YouTuber role can only be attained when an applicant submits a successful YouTube Channel with at least 1,000 subscribers. Your channel should prioritize genuine and decent quality long-form videos that follow a consistent upload schedule.

Only long-form videos are accepted and evaluated. YouTube Shorts are

- All the videos must be genuine and reflect decent quality. Your video uploading frequency must be either: at least one video uploaded every week for at least 2 months or at least one video uploaded every month for at least 6 months.
SOME KEYWORDS
- Sophistication Standards:
Your
example(s) may demonstrate beginner, intermediate or advanced level of proficiency. In simpler terms,
sophistication refers to how good your work is in comparison with our standards. Each example must
demonstrate intermediate proficiency or above and only then your skill role application can be
accepted.
- Application Moderation:
You
would be moderated i.e. application muted if you break any serious Application Rules. This includes
application-related violations like trolling, defying staff orders and refusing to make appropriate
changes,
using AI in any manner, submitting NSFW content, evading application mute/ infraction, plagiarizing,
bribing/ attempting to bribe, etc.
- Watermarking Examples: This refers to a signature/ logo containing your Discord or Roblox Username (exactly matching watermark) and it must be the same across all your examples submitted as part of your application. The watermark must remain clearly visible. This is mandatory for authenticity and other internal reasons. Multiple watermarks are prohibited on any example.
